The Luminous Heart: A Eulogy for a Special Young Man, Dustin Martin

Published by mapu70 at 9:06 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

We are never more in touch with our own Spirit until we are told of profound loss so huge that it makes us stop and ponder the ever more finite nature of this life.

Dustin Martin was a boy whose life started out with very little hope to fuel a passion for cars, for people, for life. It is with great sorrow that I write this, another eulogy, but this time it is not for someone who was ailing, who was aged, who would be expecting to leave this life. Dusty’s life was one rife with challenge but also with much promise.

He came into this life with no expectations and without the idea in his head that he was not loved - Dustin was very loved and will be missed horribly. I would love to write at length but at this time I am still sitting here pondering the reasons for his death while I stand in awe by the fact that this child whose life was going in the direction that it needed was called Home.

All I can say right now is that I know Dustin rests with the angels, skateboards with them and is watching us all…

Rest in Perfect Peace, dear young man. I Love You!!
